With Ribs, Chops, Steaks & Wings, Ray Lampe shares with us about forty very simple recipes from all around the world. which you can be cooked on the grill and in the smoker. What I love about this book is precisely those simple and easily understandable recipes. The book is divided into four chapters : ribs, chops, steaks and chicken wings. With each category including about ten recipes. Ray gets directly to the point with very short ingredient lists and numbered preparation steps, making the recipes very easy to follow. But I must warn you, don’t expect to find any little technical secrets, tips ortricks that could help you to improve your skills… No, this is quite simply just a very nice recipe book ! I have personally tried at least one or two recipes from each category. And I can say with honesty that I was successful every time. Bourbon pork chops, Memphis ribs and Fajitas. I even cook all of these for my own customers! My favourite recipe from this book has to be the pork chops, as I think this cut is too often neglected and the results are delicious. To conclude, this is a great book, with recipes that are easily followed making them accessible to everyone.
